Is predrilling required?
No, predrilling is not required when installing TOPLoc with TimberTech AZEK decking.
Can I use TOPLoc for AZEK fasteners with steel or aluminum framing?
TOPLoc is not recommended for steel framing. You can use TOPLoc for AZEK fasteners with aluminum as long as you predrill into the aluminum framing member before securing the board.
