Why are the Impression Rail Express® Panels 69.43″ and 91.31″ and not a full 6′ and 8′?
For ease of installation and limited need to cut panels down, the railing lengths account for the post offset from the edges of the deck at the corners. For a common deck dimension of 16′, two 8′ (91.31″ actual) Panels with 3 posts will cover the span without the need to cut down the panels.
What is the actual length of Impression Rail Express®?
Impression Rail Express actual lengths are 69.4″ & 91.3″. For quick and no cutting needed for installation. Lengths are optimized for base offset at ends and corners and for 3″ posts. For stairs and when using 2″ posts, identify post blocking based off of the above dimensions.
